Facebook Business Page - How to manage your posts

When people like, comment and share your posts constantly, it means that they are truly interested in what you have to offer, right?

To win Facebook fans on  is not easy, no one will bother to click “like” to a page that doesn’t interested them at all. So, at first, you must have something interesting to say. Also, you should be careful how you say it. Here are some things you should have in mind when you post anything on :

1. People don’t like you to exaggerate. Put things in an elegant manner. Don’t use Caps Lock or too many exclamation marks. Don’t use more than one strong adjective like: “incredible”, “outstanding” or “unbelievable” and do not use them at all if they’re not necessary.
2. Check the spelling and grammar twice and if you have any doubts, ask someone or simply ask Google. No one trusts a brand or company who doesn’t write correctly. It is considered unprofessional.
3.  Be really careful about the copyrights! Pay attention to what you upload or share from other people. As a company, you don’t want to violate any copyrights because first of all it’s not good for your image and second of all it would cost you more than it’s worth.
4. Use good photos to get people’s attention. Everyone likes to see a nice photo rather than reading a boring text. Use short phrases along with the photo.
5. Don’t write too long texts because you risk to bore people and they’ll start ignoring your posts completely.
6. Don’t post too often because your fans will feel like you’re spamming their newsfeed and they’ll unlike you sooner or later.
7.  Like and answer to comments, don’t ignore the fans who engage in conversations on your page.

Your posts reach is not a thing you can control entirely. It doesn’t really matter how interesting your post is if it doesn’t reach to your fans’ newsfeed, right? How do you increase your total reach on Facebook without paying any money?

Here’s one easy method that’s worth a try.
Well, it is indeed very easy to do but you have to invest some time in this. First of all you need to find out which nationality the majority of your fans have.

If most of them are from a different country than yours, check their time zone and see if there’s any time difference. After this, do some research and find out what’s their national working schedule, when is their lunch break, when they get home from work and so on. This way you’ll be able to find out approximately when they would have time to spend on the internet. Once you have these pieces of information in mind, you could start experimenting by posting at different moments of the day. Write down the hours when you post something and also the reach of each post.

You can also insert the data in an Excel file and make yourself a nice graph to see it more clearly. So after a while you can see when your posts get to more fans. After you gain another big number of fans, take the process from the beginning, it’s possible that the majority changes after a while.
It’s not easy to win some real fans, it takes time but it’s worth it. If you want your business to be prosperous you must build your brand; Facebook is one of the best ways to achieve this.

In the next articles I will write about other issues concerning social media optimization.
